Homer's Iliad has been thought to be a foundational work of Western literature. Despite its age, it continues to resonate with readers today. However, the ideas surrounding the relationship between Achilles and Patroclus have been highly debated throughout history. Our research serves to decipher the Greek word for "man" and "husband" in order to better understand romances in Greek mythology.
